How location works

No SIM, no GPS chip. It broadcasts a secure Bluetooth signal, and the moment any Android phone or iPhone passes, that position reaches you in real time. Between passers-by you see the last known position, so how current it stays depends on how busy the road is.

Questions about the ZeroLoss Tracker

Is there a separate model for cars and bikes?

No. There is one ZeroLoss Tracker and it fits any vehicle. It is small enough to hide inside a scooter and sealed hard enough to live under a bike seat, which also makes it more than tough enough for a car.

Does it work with both iPhone and Android?

Yes. The tracker is dual-network, so it is visible to both Apple's Find My and Google's Find Hub. There is no iOS version and no Android version to choose between.

Is it waterproof enough for monsoon riding?

It is IP67 rated, so rain and a pressure-free washdown are fine. It is not meant to be submerged, so avoid mounting it anywhere that collects standing water.

Does it need wiring into the vehicle?

No. It never touches the loom, the battery or the ignition. That also means fitting it cannot void your vehicle warranty.

Will the vibration on a bike damage it?

The internals are potted and the housing is sealed. Mount it with the adhesive pad rather than leaving it loose in a compartment, where it would rattle against plastic.
