Privacy policy

The short version

We collect what we need to send you a package and answer your emails. We never receive your vehicle's location, because that data does not travel through us at all.

Your vehicle location

This is the part most people ask about, so it comes first. A ZeroLoss tracker reports through Apple's Find My network or Google's Find Hub network. Those networks are end-to-end encrypted: a passing phone relays an encrypted position that only your own account can decrypt. ZeroLoss operates no server in that path and holds no key to it. We could not tell you where your own car is if you asked us. That is a property of how the networks are built, not a promise we are making.

How Apple and Google handle that data is governed by their own privacy policies, and we would encourage you to read whichever applies to your phone.

What we do collect

• Order details — your name, email, phone number and shipping address. We need these to deliver the product and to contact you about the order.
• Account details — if you create an account, your email address and a securely hashed password. We never see your password in readable form.
• Messages you send us — whatever you write in the contact form, kept so we can follow up.

What we never collect

• Your vehicle's location, current or historical
• Your card number, CVV, UPI PIN or bank credentials
• Anything from your phone's Find My or Find Hub account

Payments

Payments are processed by a licensed Indian payment gateway. Your card or UPI details are entered on their systems and never touch ours. We receive only a confirmation that a payment succeeded, along with a reference number for reconciliation.

Cookies and local storage

We use browser local storage to remember your cart between visits and to keep you signed in if you have an account. We do not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies by default. If we later run advertising, this page will be updated before any such cookie is set.

Who else sees your data

Only the parties that have to: our hosting and database provider, our payment gateway, and the courier delivering your order. We do not sell, rent or trade personal data, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.

How long we keep it

Order records are retained for as long as tax and accounting rules in India require. Account records last until you ask us to delete them. Contact messages are kept for two years and then removed.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Write to us from the contact page using the email address on your order, and we will respond within 30 days. Note that we may have to keep certain order records even after a deletion request, where the law requires it.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we will update the date at the top and, for anything significant, email account holders.
